This is just absurd. McDonald's is adding kale to the menu.
Last year, McDonald's said they would never offer kale on the Big Mac.
They should have listened to James Bond. Never say never...
McDonald's is testing a kale breakfast bowl.
Now, I appreciate the effort. But if I really have an urge for a breakfast bowl with kale, turkey sausage and egg whites, I'm either going to make it myself in my own home or find a specialty place. I'm not going to go through the golden arches and its drive-thru.
The truth is that McDonald's menu is a mess. There are so many choices and alternatives listed on the board that you get lost and only buy the one comfort item you usually buy.
Dear McDonald's: Here's my advice. Take a page from the In-N-Out menu. It's simple, to the point, and primarily offers hamburgers, French Fries and milkshakes. Even the secret menu isn't on the board. The customer still makes every burger his or her way and leaves happy. Too many choices? Nope. But what's on the menu In-N-Out has made affordable and delicious. A customer can even order a hamburger wrapped in lettuce a.k.a. protein style.
McDonald's - times have changed! Learn from the competitors that are thriving... In-N-Out. I think it's time to take a drive to my In-N-Out... $2.34 for the best burger in town! And that's a meal I can pay for with only a few quarters and a little bit of change from the bottom of my purse. It fits my wallet and it fits today's economy.
