This is a shocking story.
A man goes in for a colonoscopy and leaves his cell phone recording as the doctors allegedly mock him when he's under anesthesia.
Wow.
A lawsuit has been filed.
That's worth $1 million at least.
This could happen to anyone.
Making fun of a patient? I'm sure it happens all the time.
My own son came out of his wisdom tooth extraction and handed me his cell phone. The doctor and nurses had taken selfies of themselves laughing around my son while he was under sedation. My son had forgotten to give me his cell phone prior to surgery. He never asked for selfies while he was under sedation, but there they were on his phone. I talked to other teenagers who went through the same procedure with the same doctor's office and they have selfies on their phones, too.
To doctors and nurses: anyone can record you at any time.
To Joe Public: anyone can record you at any time.
Be warned. Be smart. And be kind.
