By 2030... A Lot of S...tuff is Going to Happen

The year 2030.  It's starting to be the biggest headline grabber around.  You read these articles and your eyes are drawn to these headlines.  We are gorging on the year 2030 now.

The CDC has been warning about the year 2030 and now it's grown into an enormous number of articles about American Obesity in 2030.

We can see What Astronauts Will Feast on in 2030.

There are so many dramatic predictions for 2030, it's overwhelming.

While the funeral industry is preparing for the 71 million baby boomers to die in mass numbers around the same time in 2030, there also are preparations being made for The 2030 Problem: Caring for Aging Baby Boomers.

Albert Brooks even wrote a book entitled 2030: The Real Story of What Happens to America.

Every area of business from architecture to the workplace are shouting at you that it's important to think and plan for the future, especially in the year 2030.  The United Nations also predicts we will need more food, more water and more energy because of the increased global population.

This is the year 2014.

The year 2030 seems like it's so far off into the future.

I will be in my 60s in the year 2030.

I think we should start worrying about our world in 2015 instead of grabbing at the headlines of expectations of 2030.  But which headline is the audience more likely to read?  That's right.  The headline set in the future garners far more attention which results in more hits, more views, more sharing, and more publicity.

Am I writing an article about 2014 or 2015?

No... I'm even writing an article about the year 2030.

My point exactly.
