Believe in Something... Make it a Reality

In 2004, my sister was dying and she envisioned her funeral her way... with a message about her life. After her death, we attempted to put her vision in motion.  When we talked to her pastor of 15 years, he denied her vision.  That denial led me to taking a course to become a Certified Funeral Celebrant to help other families have the funeral they envision.

At the time, only a few people knew what a Celebrant was or what their role would be in a funeral service.  I built the business from the ground up.  I had to convince funeral homes to consider using Celebrants.  Fortunately, in Southern California, there were funeral homes that were open to life-based funeral services that were filled with stories, favorite music and personal moments.

What is a Celebrant?

I have met some incredible people in doing this work...

I have heard some amazing stories and

I have experienced some once-in-a-lifetime moments.

I wouldn't trade my work in funeral service for anything.

I will always be proud of the work I've done for families over the last decade.

And I thank each family for allowing me the privilege of serving.
