Building Little Homes for Homeless?

This is one man's mission to build little portable homes for the homeless.

He's done it once.  He plans to do it again.  And the movement is spreading.

Elvis Summers  had a vision to help a homeless woman in his neighborhood.  She's a mom who is 60-years-old and was sleeping on the dirt at night.  He built her this little home on wheels for about $500.

No one plans to be homeless.  No one dreams of being homeless one day.  It's not a short-term or long-term goal.  Stuff happens, it snowballs, and people find themselves homeless.

Summers lives in Los Angeles and he's talked to the police who say they don't care as long as the little home is moved every 72 hours, just like a vehicle parked on the street.

Now, he has a Go Fund Me page and the movement is spreading to other cities.

Tippin' my hat to a guy with a dream who turned it into a reality to help the homeless.
