Be Careful What You Write in Company Emails

The world has gone insane and hackers are everywhere, lurking like stalkers on the Internet.

So, now we have to rethink what we write privately in emails.

Be very careful what you put in writing in the workplace, especially if it's not about business.

When I worked at the film studios, there was one simple suggestion for employees.

Pretend everything you write in an email is going to be published in the newspaper the next day.

That changed everything.

Protect yourself.  Protect your business.  Protect your brand.

The old rule I learned from my father, "Never put anything in writing that you don't want on the front page."  And that was long before the time of emails and the Internet.

Be smart.  Rethink everything you write.  And outsmart the hackers.
