Washington Post Uses News from Reddit

If you read the opening lines to this Washington Post article you will see the credit for Reddit:  The average American woman now weighs as much as the average 1960s man

The world is fatter than it used to be, of course, but the message in this article is far more powerful than the storyline.

Reddit.

I constantly remind anyone who wants publicity to take their cause to Reddit.  Get people talking. And it will spread and be shared from Reddit.

The fact is that most high-profile journalists go to Reddit as a news source now.  This Washington Post article is proof of that.

The Washington Post is crediting Reddit.

Bloggers have been crediting Reddit for a long time now.

Even though a CNN reporter recently said "Reddit is not a credible news source," the fact is that journalists and bloggers across the board turn to Reddit.  I imagine even CNN reads Reddit.

Recently, there's been a jump to Voat.co but Reddit remains powerful.

If you haven't visited or joined Reddit, there are rules.  Read the rules.  If you violate the rules, you may be banned.  Now, it's time to learn about Voat.co.
